The LA Vegan Macrobiotic restaurant is very strict about being organic and vegan. The neighborhood of Temescal is in west Oakland. A fixed-price menu with two plate sizes (light and total) and a la carte options. There is also a plain plate with no salt. Dessert displays usually have baked goods like pies, cookies, and cakes that haven't been cooked yet. Sells a wide range of organic drinks, from alcoholic drinks to soft drinks and water—a calm and quiet environment in a small but not claustrophobic room.
